In the aftermath of the recent flash flood that disrupted the lives of many residents in Barangay Lumasal, a collective effort to restore hope and meet urgent humanitarian needs took place as LGIS OneWorld Foundation conducted a relief operation on July 13, 2026.

A total of 100 relief food packs were distributed to families whose homes and livelihoods were affected by the disaster. Alongside the food assistance, beneficiaries also received pre-loved clothing, providing additional support as they begin rebuilding their daily lives after the flood.

While disasters often leave behind damaged properties and economic hardship, they also reveal the strength of communities united by compassion. The relief operation served not only as an emergency response but also as a reminder that recovery is a shared responsibility — easing the burden of food insecurity and providing encouragement during a difficult period of recovery.

The Foundation acknowledged the generosity of Aldinn Jade Tristan Zeta and Teodora P. Zeta, whose donation of pre-loved clothing extended comfort and dignity to the recipients. Their contribution reflects how individual acts of kindness can create meaningful change and inspire others to support communities facing adversity.
