In times of crisis, compassion becomes a powerful force that brings people together. On July 4, 2026, LGIS OneWorld Foundation Inc. conducted a relief operation for families affected by the recent earthquake in Barangay San Jose, General Santos City.

The Foundation visited the Datal Salvan Evacuation Center and Purok Bagong Silang, where many members of the T’boli and Blaan Indigenous communities had sought temporary shelter after being displaced by the disaster. The earthquake caused significant damage to homes and infrastructure, leaving many families in urgent need of assistance.

Through the generosity of our donors, partners, and volunteers, LGIS OneWorld Foundation was able to assist at least 188 families across both communities. Each family received relief goods packages, safe drinking water, freshly prepared hot meals, and essential medicines to help address their immediate needs during this difficult time.

Beyond providing essential aid, the relief operation was an opportunity to stand alongside the affected families, offering encouragement, hope, and reassurance that they are not alone as they recover from the disaster.
